hahaha, everyone hates it a month into it. Joining the Marine Corps was the best decision I ever made. What does he do?

Like Dog said, Benefits and a constant pay check are what make it worth it.
I just got back from my 5th combat deployment, 3 to iraq and 2 to afghanistan.
I will say that if you are an individual and dont like being told how to run every aspect of your life then you will hate it. If you go in to special operations you will deal with much less of the BS and army politics but it still lingers.
Its not all bad tough, you make a lot of good friends and experiance any things you would never have as a civilian.
