Cpl. Benjamin A. Chafin United States Army 3rd Infantry Regiment " The Old Guard " Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
YOUR F-ING KIDDING ME!!! Dude I have mad respect for you. If I am not mistaken you have to go through a LOT to get that position and sacrifice A LOT as well.
thats a story i would have to tell you, cause it would take FOREVER to write lol! you do sacrifice alot though. you don't have a personal life and you maybe sleep 2-4 hours a day if your lucky. when your not sleeping your working. tell you what though if i could dedicate myself to my truck like i was there. i could build a show stopper in about 2 weeks, lmao!
here's one of the videos a visitor to the tomb made of me
there are thousands upon thousands of visitors every year so we find stuff on the internet alot. well atleast my dad does haha
Wow man. If I could I would reach through here and shake your hand and give you a man hug (hopefully todd wont sneak a wrap around LOL). That gave me tingles up my spine. Especially after just attending the funeral of my wifes Granpa, had full Navy honors as he was a vet from World War II.
Thank you for your service.
no reach around sorry
cool little video
sweet. how many hours a day do you do that?
Forgive my for my ignorance, but I have never understood the significance of a guarding a grave.
You guys have orders to shoot anyone who crosses the perimeter?
I'm really at a loss.
I'm not trying to offend anyone, I just don't understand the importance.
i have alot of respect for what you do. one of my best friends left for the marines and i worry about him all the time.one day he will be back for good and we can work on my truck like we used too. i hope you can too.
