Nope most places its just above min wage, top out around $25 a hr. The fire medics get around 50 to 60k, and county medics around 60 to 75k .

wow that's pretty low pay considering all the schooling and training you have to go through, not to mention the stress involved with the job.

That's not fair at all.

well starting off pay in my county for a fresh out of school paramedic full time for the county is 18 and some change an hour. Around here that is pretty damn good money. Im also training to be a fire fighter as well so that training should help with the pay as well. Other than the pay do you love it?
