This sound I heard last night

Sitting on the couch last night around 10:30pm and I hear this loud cracking noise follwed by this ground ponding BOOM!!!! First thing that came to mind was someone had a car accident and hit one of the big a## trees in my front yard. Cause people are always speeding down my street and they try and jump the speed hump in front of my house. Well anyway I jump up and run out side scaring my old lady. An this is what I found. My neighbors tree decided it didn't want to hold this BIG A## branch anymore, and in doing so it took out one of thier cars. Luckly no one got hurt. It was laying across the street and into my front yard. BGE and the county left this moring around 6:00am after fixing the power pole it hit and clearing the street of the tree.

Wow that is a huge tree. Glad everyone's ok, sad about their car though.

that was probably a really nice t-bird.... too bad about the aftermarket tree shaped antenna... not sure it will get much reception...

Yeah we all noticed that last night, that good old glory was still hang on.

DAM glad no one got hert but poor car.

Funny thing about the car. About two years ago that same tree dropped a small branch and busted out the front windsheild. I guess the tree had it out for the car....HAHA

on the plus side though the car is layed out now!lol still sucks though!
