We ended up going baby blue with cream/white accents!!! And some white pinstriping..

Sweet bike. I too pedal without shoes, I have a 70's Schwinn Beach Cruiser that looks as if it has been stored at the bottom of the ocean. Is yours an Electra? I just bought my wife the black one with the pink flames. Don't consider yourself a hippe though...they smell of pachoolie (SP) oil and hug trees.
