i don't know what started all this, but mikey's right. he has to grow up. and i do recall him saying he was leaving a few times before. and once again, i'm sure this truck will be sold and he'll move on to another style of customs, be it imports, euros, hot rods, etc. i've had people be an ass to me, but you just overlook it, or make light out of it. there's only a handful of guys i don't like on here, but they aren't going to keep me from posting. stay or don't stay, it's his decision. let him make it.

I'm not going to really get involved in this, I read through his thread and didn't see any reason for him to be mad.

In Cody's defense this isn't aimed at him, he didn't start this thread. I hope this rubs no one off the wrong way but I guess it's time I vent a little. I will say though over the years since I started MBS, every now and then a member will feel the reason to make a big posting about how they are not happy and say the whole mini truckin' scene is going down hill yada yada you guys know and of course they are going to leave the site. How do you leave a website? It's not like you are moving out of a neighborhood. Usually it stems from them getting offended by a comment, or simply just wanting attention, or wanting people to give them encouraging thoughts.

In the past I would be really sincere, but learning from experience, at least the cases I dealt with directly there is nothing that can be said or done when someone just wants attention, or for 20-30 people to say "Don't go man!". So what have I seen? Well as funny as it might sound the one particular case the person just signed in as invisible! I could still see them but to everyone else of course they were hidden. What I'm trying to say is no one leaves the site when they say they will, but sometimes you have to take a break.

Times are hard for everyone right now, and I'm right there with you. The best advice I can give in pertaining to the forum is if someone says something that gets under your skin, brush it off. There are over 3k people on this forum, and what are the chances they all will agree with you? Don't get me wrong if someone needs to get banned I'll take care of it, either myself AJ, Jeff, or Linn.

On a side note sometimes I think that this community is so close and family like it's easy to over react to even the slightest negative comment. Please help me out if someone says something you don't like, or offensive read it again first because the internet doesn't show your emotions. It's easy to misread a comment, especially from a bunch of guys who like to have fun and joke around

Wow. . I missed this thread. . prolly good too. . I don;t see the point in begging people to stay either. . Idk whats up with this whole situation. . but i know he was moanin cuz people werent commenting on his project thread after he f'd up his dash. . And thats the precise reason why nobody said anything. . If I go in a thread and see some stuff that looks horrible, im not gonna say anything. . So then he started whining, so people responded about his dash and it wasnt really what he wanted. . Then he gets upset. . and comments on another guys headlight mod sayin "epic FAIL" or some shit. . like he has room to talk? ? Not even a week after he bitched that ppl were makin fun of him, he's gonna call someones work an epic fail? ? How does that even make sense? ? So no, i dont feel sorry for him. . Ya he didnt make this thread but he has stated in mulitple threads that he is butt hurt and leavin. . I helped him in his bracket thread. . I told him to not take it off cuz it looked important. . I was jus givin my input on whether i thought he should take it off or not. . Did it answer his question immediately? ? No. . I did later on. . But I felt that some guidance was needed and that he shouldnt jus start pullin stuff off his truck. . he doesnt even know the front and rear sides of leaf springs? ? he doesnt need to be pullin random stuff of a motor. . But its his truck. . I guess everyone should pat him on the back and tell him its good cuz hes sensitive and 15? ? Naw. . trucks are a cut throat environment, if you cant take it, then leave. . I have had negative feedback on my truck, but hey, i'm still buildin it, and i am going to apply what people told me to do to make my ttruck safer. .

And you do have to read things twice, like Baha said. . Theres no emotion in written text. . so how do you know what tone I am talking in. . unless i riddle my paragraph with smileys. . Me and mikey butted heads when I first joined this site, but we are cool now. . Me and cody used to be cool, I helped him out quite a bit when he first joined. . But the drama is old. . As are the useless posts. . If I start a thread and he is online to see it pop up. . I can gurantee a post that doesnt help or pertain much to the thread. . Like similar to what mikey said, "I want that chrome trim. . . . FOR FREE". . seriously? ? Why are you wasting my time? ?
