well it finally happened

well i finally got pulled over for being too low (ONLY STATIC). he got me for 1 in below the legal limit and let me go with a warning.

Maybe go with a little taller tire??? Or give a little twist on those torsion bars and a smaller block in back!! That sucks man.. You know that they/he will be keeping an eye out for you now!!! Good luck!

aint funny when i was younger i got pulled over every week for some stupid bs......reason i got stopped was being to low..lol

I know they say you have to have so many inches for your license plate..I got popped in my 88 civic with .75 drop springs...not much right? I measure out 3" too low...I had just bought another civic to start on...and it measured out 2" below the standard and it was all STOCK!!!...so I took it to court and yes it got thrown out...just because I argued the point that EVERY 88-91 civic then was illegal in the state of AZ...stock or not. Dont know if I was lucky or not cuz I was running 14s and fat tires at the time....but the plate placement on a stock civic was below AZ's acceptable height law...pretty stupid actually.

the legal limit here in va is 14 inches and he pulled the tape out and said i was only 13. he must only measured the body. i really never have measured it though.

they measure from the frame if you have no bumper

Damn.I am screwed if I go thru VA.My Volvo C30 is only 3 inches from the ground in front and it only has the FACTORY handling package.I am SOL.Lol.BJ

man Oregon's laws are sounding pretty fair.... we can be as low as the bottom of our rims while in motion. Also states hydraulics/ air ride okay as long as it is not adjusted while moving down the road, nothing about plates or headlights.
