its a sad sad day

i finally got ahold of the insurance company. they got a repair quote of over $4g for my 91



well they sed i can git $2300 and let them take it or $1800 and i can keep it. i'm gonna keep her just long enuff to strip parts i need for my 96 caprice then sell off what i can before she goes to the highway in the sky.

it sucks cuz my dad gave it to me but i dont have near enuff time or money to repair it.

what happened to the car to have to call the insurance company?

i slid on ice, fishtailed like crazy. slid off the road into the field. it almost rolled.

hey on the up side $2300 in the pocket wouldn't hurt matters with the economy sucking so bad right now

yeah but i dunno if they'd let me strip it before they take it...

take the 1800 and strip the parts you need does that car come with the TPI motor because the motor alone will make up the 500.00 difference and the tranny will make some more bucks. Is the body damaged alot or are there alot of panels still good.

most of the panels are good... well the left side is good! lol right side is all banged up. its the old TBI motor so its not really worth that much. i'm gonna see if i can strip it before they take it of the few small things i need.

huggr post some pics of the engine bay in it if youw ould please. if youkeep the car or strip parts off of it i would be extremely interested in the intake and injectors and all that good stuff. let me know.

its the old style motor justin. the truck with the TBI that looks like a carb.

i do however have a 96 LT1 i'm tryin to get rid of. think its all there.
