Good point Mikey. The way things are going with the big 3 makes anything with them, there dealers or suppliers a little dicey these days. My brother who is an ASE Master Mechanic with a local Chevy dealer just quit his job there to go work at a Goodyear repair center. Guess he figures more people will be keeping there used cars and needing service.
So, question - what will you be doing at the dealership?
I work for one of Honda's two seat suppliers, and the Ontario Honda plant is cutting production down to 4 days a week for January and February and a week shut down in March. For the Civic sedan and Acura MDX, the plant is cutting production from 800 units a day to 600.
They aren't laying anyone off which is lucky for the 8000+ people (Honda employees and all of the suppliers like myself) who do work for Honda, but the cut in production going to 4 days a week actually makes us lose a complete week of work for the next 2 months.
