i've been in the garage. also been in chat lately. thats where the party is at

i find the site harder to navigate / less inviting since the update....maybe its just me.

I have to admit this fits me as well. Lot of garage time, work and sleep.

I disagree, the older folks will never become obsolete! Chat has given a place for people to communicate in real time so while the amount of posts may seem less and it is, but think of the quality of posts now? Before you would have to read 2-3 conversations while reading through a topic. (post whoring)

As far as chat being offensive it's gotten alot better but sometimes jokes can be taken the wrong way, and there's no way around that.

As show season comes to a close for the year, and also holidays, forum activity also slows down. It's been that way since 2005 when I started all of these sites.

yup,I think the chat has ruined the site. I go int he chat occasionally and I just find it hard to follow, or I get busy doing other stuff and I completely lose track of the chat or forget about it altogether.

Nothing can be said about the quality of the posts, because there aren't any. Seems like whenever I go in the chat there's either nobody there,or it's the same few people. I mean yes, I enjoy talking with the guys on here, but with the forum being almost nonexistant since the chat,it's making it almost pointless to keep coming back.

Sorry you feel that way but the forums aren't going anywhere...

yeah, a lot of us are on chat.. and yes, it's usually the same guys, but don't blame us that the site hasn't been very active lately. i know i'm here most of my day simply to wait until something is posted, or help revive it, along with others. this is and always will be my favorite site. it's closer to the holidays, and people have to get erady for them, so of course it's going to be a little slower than normally. like baha said, it's happened every year since it was started. i'll get on when i get to work, and i'll have missed a few threads, and won't see them until someone revives them. and i don't mind reading through old ones. but chat is helpful.. it lets you communicate with others, rather than waiting for them to have to post, then you, and back and forth. i think MBS is a great site, and i'm sure after the holidays it'll pick right back up, and start growing even larger.
