Ok...try this...this is going to sound bad and all but I have a perfect clean record...even though I used to get pulled over and ticketed like once a month while I had my camero... If you have a perfect record go and talk to the prosecuting attorny. Act stupid. Explain that this is your first ticket and you really don't know what to do. Also mention you have a clean record and can't really afford for your insurance to go up or a hefty ticket. If you do it right and can convince the PA he may knock it down to SIS...suspended imposition of sentence... They will more than likely put you on probation. You will have to meet with the prob officer once that day of court just to give them your info, but you wont have to report ever again. What this means is that you will be on probation for a year or 6 months or 2 years...It just depends. As long as you do NOT get any other moving violation in the district it will disappear from your record. You pay a minimul fee and go on your way. I have done this about ....oh 6 times. LOL
nah i'm not gonna worry about it anymore. i'm about to start a 4 hour traffic school online. and as long as i pass it, i keep all my insurance discounts, so it wont go up at all, and i'll keep my safe driver status, and the ticket will be taken off my record. and plus i'll get a discount on the ticket. and plus i found a place in town that will calibrate speedometers, so eventually i'm gonna take the truck and get that done.
