thinking about getting this truck and selling the mazda

iam thinking about getting this from my dad..
its a 89 toyota 4x4 4cyl
and the thing is .. is i have to sell the mazda and give my dad 1k now then either 500 or 1k later ..

he wants me to have it becuz he just bought another toy thats a 92 6cyl 3.0 with a 7" lift (4" sus. 3" body)

if i do get this truck iam gunna have to lift it at least 4" and 35" tires





i kinda want to do this because a few years ago me and my dad wore gunna have vw bugs together n stuff but he sold mine ...
well i think this is kind of another chance for this bond between me and him except with toyotas now..

so sadly to say i will probably be selling the mazda once again.. makes me sad to do it but i started to put it back together over the weekend so it'll be ready to sell soon .. i have to get atleast 1,000 out of it ..

if u do sell the dawg and get the yota dont do any thing stupid like body lifts make it a prerunner body lifts break easly

and remember lift kits are for those who need help getting it up beacuse real men build prerunners

I say do it. I've been a Toyota fan for years. If you have a chance to get a Toyota truck for cheap, jump on it,because they go for insane prices up here.


Clean up the Mazda,make it one colour,whether primer or flat black or something, make sure it needs little mechanical work and advertise it for $1200-1500.

oh,btw,I think you should sell me the wheels from the red Yota.

i put it back together today .. (the mazda) and now its on salem craigslist for 1100 ..

but all i need out of it is 1k

and yes mikey toyotas are priced high .. we wore lucky to get the 92 thats lifted for 3250 ..

and also we bought the red one for 2800 a couple moths ago but they are usually around 4-6k

You'll love that Yota if its running a 22re motor! Your dad isn't going to like that 3.0 too much if he's going to be wheeling it. They have a problem with blowing head gaskets and if it has an automatic it sucks for power. That motor is also known as the 3.slow in the Yota world.

I have a 95 4Runner lifted 4", 5.29's, Detroit in the rear, lockrite in the front, Rocksliders, and 33" procomp Xterrains. And I also have a 84 4Runner for the trails with 6" suspension lift, 5.29's, welded rear, lockrite up front, crossover steering, dual transfer cases, 30 spline bobby longs, and 35" BFG Mud Terrains! I love Yota's!

ha nice .. and yes the red yota has a 22re and the blue one is 3.0 which yes they do suck ..

the 22re has soo much more power its crazy ..

Just get your Mazda as clean looking as you can and jack the price. if someone sees it advertised for 1100,they'll probably be a dick and offer 700-800 for it.

Are both your yotas 4wd?

When I was out mudding on the weekend,there was a Yota there like your black one,with the 3.0 and a stick with a huge lift and ginormous tires. It was pretty freakin sweet.
