hey just wanted to ask a question to anyone that had a ragtop

did you install it yourself of have someone do it for ya

if you had it installed professionally about how much did it run you

i know that some cons are, the fact that it can have alot of road noise and they can sometimes be prone to leak

but if there is anything else let me know

thanks

Are you referring to a sliding sun roof? If so, then yes the can and do leak if you spray water at the sides. From the front or rear, they are pretty water tight. Have driven thru rain storms in the past without problems. And yes, they do increase road noise.

yeah, the sliding sun roof is what i meant, sorry should of been alil more clear..

so did you install one yourself or have a shop do it?

im basically at a fork in the road, a limb smashed my roof in,almost perfect length to put either a sliding sun roof, or something of that matter.. or to just get a new roof (have an idea of just cutting out the dented in area and welding in some sheet metal).. but i always wanted a sliding sun roof.... so Im just trying to feel out the pricing to maybe get one installed or if its an easy enouhgh job to do it yourself
