okay heres the deal.. i have 1 amp connected to a sub right now and its awesome...
but today we received the new sub just like the other one and i wanna hook the both of em up ..
i have a 1000 watt amp and right now i have the sub bridged so i have all 1000 to the one..
can i hook it up where the both of them have 1000 watts
or iam i gunna have to go with 500 watt each ??
FYI: not my truck.. for my dads 91 toy 4x4...
what kind of amp and subs?
does it matter elbine?? .... j/k lol
there just (2) 8" kicker subs and a legacy 1000 watt amp..
only 8" because thats what we can fit in the storage compartment thingy under the rear seats
single voice coil or dual voice coil? Also need to know the specs on the amp, like how much power it puts out at what ohms.
then you can take that info and head over and use this:
Yup need some specifics - 4 ohm 8 ohm ??? is the amp 2 ohm stable ??
oh sorry
its actually a legacy LA750 amp = 1000watt 2ch.
subs are 200 watt kicker 8" C8
2 channel amp - 2 subs !! 4 ohm stereo seems like a match made in heaven. One sub wired to the right channel - the other wired to the left channel .. done and dunn !!
lmao cody that didnt help at all unless we wanna look up the subs which i dont! lol
i would say keep them bridged to get just one chanel out of the amp
connect both subs together but bridged ?? is that what you saying ..
