I've been trying to figure this out..
I've notice the hot little 'nickname' for the Mazda's is "Mazdawg"
Where exactly did this term come from?
I'm curious to where the 'dawg' reference came from. Because I dunno about you but the only 'dog/dawg' my mazda reminds me of is an old shitzu or something.
My prefered term is "Mazi"
I dunno why, it doesn't sound intimidate or anything either.
What do you call yours?
Besides the obvious profanity.

I think the origin of the term came from a certain "Wyatt Strange" persona in Minitruckin magazine in the mid 90's. I don't know for sure but that is the first time I recall seeing it.

Dawg --- Because the trucks stock have no power and are like a sluggish ol hound dog. Also cause if you get on it while going up hill all it does is dawg down and go nowhere very fast.
