i only know of the tribe called quest because they were on mtv the other day. lol. i don't really listen to that stuff.. mostly hip-hop, old school rap, and some rock.

i had totally forgot about jurrasic 5. i remember them having some songs on one of my PS1 games long ago.

those are three really great groups. ive always listened to a wide variety of music. i just sometimes get into stretches where im really into a certain type.

is SPM mainstream? hmmmm i dont know but IMO he is the best lyricist ever! but hes mexican and raps in spanish and english (chicano)

nice, i listen to all that + check out some mystik journeymen, aceyalone, souls of mischief, blackalicious, murs and some loop troop.

i could go on for days, real hip hop is dope.
