My turn for the drama!

Dayum man, That sucks to hear, Im sorry about you and your family. People like this are I dunno Im at a loss for words, most of us have been in semi similar situations, I say do what you gotta do man. Sometimes there is no answer and you do what first comes to mind, If someone came at me with any weapon you bet your ass if I had one as well, I would use it without hesitation. ood luck your doing the right thing man!

Hex - wow, definately a difficult situation. Wish I could offer you the ideal solution but ufortunately we both know it probably doesn't exist. Obviously you and your family will be in our prayers regardless of your decision.

Have not been in your situation but knowing how I am... I would protect my family using any means available to me.
