i run a ricer so what

to me there is a huge difference in ricers and tuners. in my opionion ricers are the tacky bolt on everything you see from autozone and the huge wings and ungoddly body kits. tuners are the actual fast cars that have been done with lots of taste and usability in mind. i like tuner cars.

Oh snap! I just noticed the monster tach too!

I dislike ricers/tuners because everyone of them has to do an annoying fly by when I'm driving my vette. So what was once a peaceful drive has turned into an obnoxious exhaust note traveling into my ear drum.

alot of times also there is a difference between a driver of a import (fast car big uprades) and a ricer (bolt on stuff from autojoke) Alot of ricers think they r fast and try to be idiots proving to themselves and underage girlfriends thats they are fast. Import drivers know they are fast and drive around with there mostly hot asain girlfriends letting everyone check her out. but maybe thats just in my mind I DUNNO

Those are just labels people place on themselves. I'm not an anything, just a guy who has 3 mini trucks and one import.

I really don't have a problem with tuners or ricers. All I have a problem with is them coming up to me and trying to rub it in my face, that anything they have is better. And I really hate the people that knows nothing about their ride or its mods and try to make it seem like they are the sh!t.

I've got a good friend that owns a signs and graphics shop. So all of the lil ricers have to come there and get their stickers that adds an insane amount of hp. A few of us were standing outside when a integra took off, when he hit second gear you could hear the vtec screamin, and I made a coment to my buddy about it. One of the retarded ricers looks me dead in the face and said, "vtec ain't sh!t, it's just the college the engines are built at!" I swear I wanted to knock his friggin head off.

All I'm sayin is, whatever you are into, learn some facts. And don't pretend to be something your not.

I guess all this makes me a Japanese Meatball, cause I drive a modded 2200 and an 08 Volvo C30 that is heavy leaned on. Oh yeah,VTEC ,the famous college of Variable Timing Engine Control.I went there once.Great party school if u like drinkin 30 weight.LMAO.BJ

i agree that there is a real big diference between ricers and tuners. you also need to add in another category of mini inspired imports which are totally badass IMO. i really hate the ricers that have watched fast and the furious way too many times that fly around town in their "fast" cars that only have a muffler and an unpainted bodykit. but i give a lot of respect to guys who can build up an import with a real clean lookin exterior with a lot of power under the hood. i have been working on imports since way before i was into minis and i doubt any minitrucker will ever look down on me for building a ~500hp AWD Datsun 510 with my dad.

its not what you build, its how you build it.

which i may add is one bad ass datsun.
