my jesus mikey that is one huge ass shifter. as for shifting goes. before i extended mine with the tap handle i had cut my stock one off just below the threads for a short throw. didnt shift much different than stock. i put this big mug on and it shifts like butter. im talkin completely different noticable feel. i think my syncros will last way longer this way. it is seriously effortless shifting. plus you get all kinds of cool and strang looks and lots of compliments

Synchro life wont change lol, You didnt technically change anything but the throw of the shifter, the lever is still in the same position but since its so far extended the throw is much different therefore it feels better, but technically wont effect the wear on your tranny Just I want better pics of yours, and how long is it?

lol it doesnt seem like it but think of it this way. when you trying to break a bolt loose. the shorter the rachet is the easier it is to round off the head. with a longer rachet the less likely that chance is. even though you still using the same socket. with the tranny it takes more force to get the short throw to go in to gears usually causing you to be a little rougher with the gears. with the long one it is effortless causing all the gears to just slide right in to place no problem. im not sayin its going to be a huge difference but id like to believe its a little different.
