We had 9 days to do one. I slept at the shop. And it was a beeotch to get them even close to flat. That and we had to make the end caps fit right. We carried the graphics through the slides. I bout myself one of those little snap-on water bugs, it's a little finish sander that sucks water up from a bucket and applies it while you are sanding, awesome little sander. We went 800,1200,1500,3000 and then polish and buff.

Huskerdually is just I'm from NEBRASKA and we got the CORNHUSKERS. And I am working on a dually.

Nine days - ouch. Sounds like something for reality TV LOL.

Figured your name had something to do with NE but given the current topic thought it was appropriate

That water bug sounds like the ticket.

It was a father/son operation and they fought and argued. It was like american chopper. It was not a fun job.

Good luck with that thing man. It is friggin nice... My boss and her husband just got a new one about two months ago. Custom ordered and all. I think it was like $500,000 or something. Insane the crap that is in there. They do a lot of tailgating so they had built in keg dispensers and a wine cooler. Pretty friggin sweet though.

I here ya.. If I heard right on this one somewhere around $600,000 but again with these guys that could be inflated to make you feel even worse or deflated so they don't look so bad. I do know that there are several electric fridges / coolers in the "basement" as they call it. The owner is a big NASCAR and college football fan so I guess thats what he does with it (personnally never been to one of the outings).

Looks like you were right. Got most of the dash back together and believe it not she fired right up and all the accessory BS seemed to work just fine. Now all I gotta do is figure out how to close everthing up and move the beast outside so the attennas can see the sky. Should be interesting LOL

Too funny that is exactly what my boss's husband does. College football and Nascar. However according to the tax office and loan company it is a mobile office. Show some pics of the install...

Finally got it finished (havn't been working on it much lately).

Overall pic of dash (yes thats F&F #2, only DVD he had - sorry). Big TV has DVD movie, Alpine unit shows navigation, small TV is backup camera.

Current setup allows upper front TV to display: DVD video, Backup camera, Satelite signal. Alpine head unit can display: DVD video or navigation. Little TV only shows backup camera. Sound is routed to a pair of component MTX's in the ceiling up front (can be seen in 1st pic), or a pair in the ceiling over the bed. Sorry guys, no subs or 1,000 watt amps in this setup.
