Am i getting too old???

kids will be kids i saw this very thing at the lowdown show and it really bummed me out because it took away from the fun i was having

and it seams to be a disease or something cause you run into more and more of this kind people even in there 30's+

ok im 18 and ive been noticing this to. its that dumbass ricer scene thats influencing all these damn kids and everything is seriously getting messed up. just for that reason alone i dont go to local shows unless i know who is usually in them. these goddamn new kids are stupid and they dont realize what they are messing up

I see it on the news all the time. Some 17 year old kid dies on the highway. Everyone says " I can't believe this happened!" Then they show the car they were driving and it's a spankin new WRX or something like that. Why the hell would someone buy something like that for their kid? I can't stand car shows anymore. It used to be all people who put their own blood and sweat into their cars. You rarely see someone who built the car treat it like crap. It's all the mom and pop cars.

Just a while ago,on the news here,they said some 17 year old kid who just got his licence got pulled over on the highway for doing like 220kmh in his parents car. $10 000 fine, got the car impounded for a week and lost his licence for a week,all under Ontario's 50+kmh-over Street Racing law.

well im just glad i aint the only one thats feels this way. And i hadnt said anything but the more i thought about it the more it pissed me off. Im not planning on going to any local shows for a while due to my schedule bue me and the friend i went to that show with this past weekend are going to that motorsport nationals show in atlanta in a couple weeks. but out of all the people who went it me him and I who didnt swerve. hes got an eclipse with the loud exhaust body kit lambo doors custom paint and he has paid every dime to get it done. put the lambo doors on himself two different body kits on it and painted it twice in the last year all himself. never once did he do anything stupid with his car and hes just as young as the jackass's that was. just shows what somone doing there own work paying for there own parts going through all the pissed off times we have putting things together as a custom vehicle driver and then driving it to a show in a respectful way. my opinion is just like the opinion in mini truckin magazine a while back. if you can drag why drag for two miles leaving a show. let it rip show everyone u got it go home. rice burning cars go fast rev it up piss people off and go home SAFE. but oh well all i gots mini trucks one sits in the garage i would never hurt one runs like shit and is going up for sale and the other is tore apart in MY garage while IM putting bags on it. i wonder if it will ever get drove like shit DOUBT IT......lAtEr

This is the key - and it is not just about " their things " It is EVERYTHING.. they have absolutelyy no respect for anything or any one. I have come to call them Generation " ME "... cuz it is all about them. it is all " look at me - look at me " fueled by things like the internet and YOUTUBE. they do what they can to be noticed - and if they don't get noticed they push a little harder.
