PEEPS IN SOUTHERN LA & MS - IF EVACUATED

among all the sad Katrina stories were the people in hospice care that had to be evacuated .We had 2 come to Chattanooga and we cared for them.They both stayed cause no home to return to.really tragic.Hope all on the coast stay safe.BJ

thanks but not great-just a thing.i hope that if i needed help,one of my bruthas would reach out to me-and im sure they would.we are all in this thing together.best comment i ever heard came from one of my patients who told me"Be nice to everyone that u meet,cause everyone is fighting a terrible problem." and I believe him.by the way,u guys should go see "The Bucket List" if u havent already and read a little book called "The Shack".Both will make u think.BJ

Very well spoken BJ. I true believe you try to trust everyone and give them respect...with in reason. For me I have two precious little girls and could not imagine what it would be like for them to have to go through what some of the gulf residents have. Being in the business that I am in I have met tons of children that were directly affected by Katrina. They lost everything...clothes, house, toys, relatives.... Then when you install a new playground and just to hear the laughter that has been absent for so long...It is just humbling. Makes you feel human. You tend to realize what really matters.

word.we ended up with about 150 evacuees this time around.been over to the shelter most of the day but everything is under much better control this time around.Hope all goes well on the coast.bj
