im unemployed right now, so im working here and there for cash jobs installing alarms, starters, stereos, ect.ect, and a few days out of the week i go work for my old old job to help them out when there busy, just bought a house and need to pay bills blah blah blah,
so anyways, today i didnt have any work to do, so i slept in a bit, but i was waken up from the city workers to finally take the tree down in the front yard, so i went an moved my truck so they can park in my driveway and use the boom lift, and i went back inside, and they went on there way cutting, i was sitting on my lap top when i hear "BANG BANG BANG!!!" i get up and look out the window, and the top of the tree was already on the ground, along with all the power lines to my house including cable tv and phone! i snapped! i went outside and starting bitching at the guy, i go inside to relax a bit, and the city guys knocking at my door, i opened it up and he said i have to call an electrician, i went off the handle! it was his screw up! and they want me to pay 1000$ to fix it? fuck no!, so after some bitching they took care of it, so im at home with no power no nothing, bored as shit, and i had to stay home and wait for al the repair guys to show , when i was supposed to pick up some parts for the truck i just sold, so i sat on the front porch read MT mags, so around 1pm hydro company shows up to put up the lines, cool i got power but no cable or phone, then the city decides to leave but left the tree on my lawn, so i just gave up im just leaving it there, 1:30 pops by and i get a call on the cell, its the boss asking if i can come in to do some installs that just came in, but a couldnt cuz i had to wait around for repair guys, im pissed again cuz now im losing money, 2pm rolls around a friend come over to kill some time before he went in for afternoon shift when i get another call on the cell, its ford motor company, calling me to tell me i got the job at the assembaly plant, so yay!! 3pm cable guys shows up and it turned out i knew the guy through other friends, so he went and fixed my shit, finished the job and we were talikng for almost an hour, killing time, and then he left, and now im typing this

the good things are, i got a new job and the nasty tree is gone
the bad, i missed out on work today, and didnt make it to the wreckers to pic up parts for the truck,

congrats on the new job.... what will you be doing there... my dad was the F.T.P.M (Ford Total Production Maintenance) Coordinator for 24 yrs till they closed the plant about a year ago... a lot of people got screwed out of retirement and some got both a buy out and retirement.... all the american manufactures are going over seas due to cheaper labor.....
