got the Caddy SPL metered

So since I put a fairly rockin system in the Caddy,the stereo shop that installed it does free SPL metering occasionally. I dropped by the shop tonight and gave my stereo a go just out of curiosity to see what it would hit with the way it's currently set up.
I ended up hitting 138.6 db with most of my amp settings turned down pretty low. They told me with some little tuning,we can easily get it to hit well over 140.
At their competition last year, 132.8 db took 3rd place,and I've already beaten that. They told me I definetly need to enter thier first show in June once they fine tune it for me.
I just thought that was pretty cool,just for shits n giggles and nearly hit 140db with my system.
FYI,I am running a 200w Sony headunit, stock Bose speakers with a 400w 4ch Kenwood amp, 2 Kenwood 12" subs in a ported box and a 1500w Clarion amp on the subs.

haha yeah I'm going to enter. When I had the car metered tonight,we hooked it all up and the guy that rund the shop sat at the table with the computer and as he got the reading i was looking at him and he just went all bug eyed and his jaw dropped and started nodding approvingly lol.
I won't win,there's a few guys in town with some pretty rockin systems,but I know I've already outdone the 3rd place guy,so I'm a top contender atleast! haha

haha yeah. it's all thanks to that big dirty Clarion amp. That thing is a total beast. It retails for over $650 and I got it for $300 through them. One of the best deals I ever went for.

was that with the rear seat up or down? did they use a mic style meter at the front of teh windshield or a globe style in the floor? was the car running?

well it's perfectly capable of making my subs explode if I turn it up high enough lol
