found somethin nifty today

not mazda related but thought it was pretty cool. i was down at the yard gittin a new fender for my 91 caprice. couldnt find silver, and the 2 white 9c1s were pretty beat so i got a DGGM from a 93. well just the other day they got in a black 91 with some 17's. not really my style, multi(7?) spoke wheels and big red decals down the side. i did happen to notice somethin tho.

i looked over and saw a badge on each fender of the black 91. thought it was an LS or LTZ badge. wasnt' sure. but i wanted to check the leather inside. it wasn't any good.

well when i got over there i found these...



HOLY COW! never seen 'em before. whipped out the pocket knife and popped 'em off. i couldnt let these go to waste. they'll look good cleaned up on my 91

i find it fun to find weird or rare parts at the yard they dont know anything about and sell it too me cheap.

not really. just an LTZ. thought it was a cop car til i checked the spid label. it did have an SS spoiler and grille but they took the hood and grille to auction and the spoiler was ripped off.

damn 84. thats beautiful. im tryin to find another wagon for the girlfriend. found one today that the interior and motor were perfect. same combo as urs but the body was bad. 1/4 was held together with duct tape!

Plus they're comfy and decent on gas too!
