Just so nobody feels like a daisy, the fainting isn't usually from blood loss, but a nerve called the Vagus. Basically under the right amount of stress, this nerve can slow the heart down (bodies way of saving itself... sorta lol) which will cause a drop in blood pressure to the point of fainting (typical) and even cardiac arrest (severe). This is the same nerve (the biggest in your body in fact), that under extreme pain will cause reflux and vomiting sometimes. It's also responsible for that queasy feeling when you go on rides.

^^ WERD^^ LOL!

I've been there too guys. Years ago I was in a yard looking for a taillight for my then girlfriend's Grand Prix. This was by no means a well organized place, so I was walking over a car (step on the trunk, then the roof...) when I went to step down on to the cowl my right foot went through the windshield and put a nice gash in my shin. I didn't get woozy until I sat down to have it cleaned out.

Glad you're OK!
