Now,i agree with both sides points,and all I'm gonna say is that this is is a family,or "PG-13" site. You're allowed to drive as young as 14 in some places,so you're going to expect that there are going to be kids on here,such as v8mazda's son. You gotta be atleast 18 to view teh pr0n according to the law,so the last thing we need here at Bscene is have some naughty pics posted and have little Timmy's mom see some t&a on a truck website and then have Timmy's mom complain to the site admin or whatever and get into a whole situation like this,or worse.

Hell,even Craigslist doesnt let you sell adult stuff.

the kicker to that Mikey is...he never put up images that you have to be 18 to see. a 7 year old could walk into a corner mart and see the same images...

I'm not sure what has happened so I'm trying to do my best from reading your posts. From what I understand

Novacancy you are mad because you felt insulted, and your topic was removed. From reading that quote I can see it taken that way. Sometimes its hard to word things the right way over the internet, but I'm sure it was not meant to come off that way. I just want to apologize because I know that is not what was intended from that comment.

I can't see anywhere that one of us has pushed down our morals on the mini trucking community. No one has told you what your morals should be, only that you can't post porn related content on this website. The Jesus comment sorta got to me I also hate it when I see people try to push their religion on to others, but that is definitely not what happened here.

Porn is a topic that seems to come up from time to time. In the past we have dealt with similar issues on a case by case basis. In the end it is impossible to make everyone happy. There will be some that see no issue, and others who do not wish to see explicit, or related content on a truck website. I am one of them. I don't want to have to worry about looking at this website either at work or at home and someone to come behind me and see pornography and get the wrong idea about what I am doing.I know the main issue probably has to deal with that the pictures contained no nudity, or it was just a discussion. I didn't see the pictures or the discussion but as slammedyota has mentioned it is a hard to decide where the thresh hold is. I can see it being a little to strict but we have to set the thresh hold somewhere.

All of you have made some very good points. Kirk made a very good point not to boo on porn, or the people in the industry and to keep the sites clean for families or people who do not wish to see it.

I would hate to see anyone leave because you can't post porn, or when you type swear words on this form they are filtered out.

On a side note: One time someone has called me a racist because I didn't allow him to post porn on one of my sites

I hope my comments don't offend anyone but again I hope all of you stay. You may not realize this, but everyone adds a flavor to the scene.

Sorry for making a stink over it Baha, I just get really pissed when people start pushing their beliefs on people... which was not totally the case here.. and me being a thick headed asshole, i blew it out of proportion. Hey no problem I knew that was what happened. That is what I love about this community everyone is really helpfull and respectful to each other.

On a side note You CAN sell adult stuff on craigslist and all they do is ask if you are old enough....how many say NO!! You can buy allmost anything on Craigslist including people of coarse by the hour I also have a 15 year old that reads here daily i am glad to see the mods of this site get on here and talk with people not at them thats what makes this place great!! I have no problem with porn myself but were do you draw the line....new member see things like that then push it alittle farther. Well just had to chime in back out to the garage to work on the truck

Hmmm. Drama. Nah not anything like....well nevermind we will leave that site alone. I can see both points becuase I am really starting to live on this site work/home/airport on my pda phone. The other thing I thought about about would be that if the government seen that they were not limiting the age or at least alerting the public it could be illegal...thus leading to web site shut down and money lost. By sending a comment or email it is physical proof of the admin covering their ass. I know from experience that sometimes you have to word things differently to cover your ass. It would suck even more to loose this site then it would to see porn.

As far as novacancy being in the industry...got an application? I need some dang money. lol
