he's been working (or dreaming of working) on his taco. they don't have internet right now. i talk to him pretty often. he is trying to buy back this truck so we can make a bar b q pit out of it. trying to get it all done before texmex 08.

WHAT? listen bro. we don't give a damn about the dude hacking the truck up could really care less. he hasn't really done shit with it anyways. it's his truck and he can do whatever he wants with it my boy just wants to buy it back to make a bar-b-que pit out of it. that is all. the truck is barely worth 700 bucks. not to knock anyones work but the guy that did the backhalf has good welds but it is not square, there is no interior, there is no back glass, the windshield is completely busted, the bag job and the bodydrop is not complete. nothing is mounted to the firewall, it is just a sheetmetal firewall that is not even finished being welded up, the upper control arms have to be replaced due to the dude cutting them up with his torch way to thin and then welded a peace of 1x1 angle to the top for "strength", the wheels are ok and may make the truck worth the 700 bucks but that is about it. the tranny that comes with the truck doesn't even match up to the engine that he is selling with the truck. the bags won't even mount up the the lower mounts on the bars. not to mention the bars are only 1" bars with no gussets, the engine is out of a maxima that had about 180,000 miles on it and is just sitting on the ground outside, there is no radiator support, the grille and the bumper in the picture are just sitting on the ground, and he is trying to sell for 1600 bucks and claims that you can't get anything this close to custom for 1600 bucks....please, just take a look at mautofied.com and check out what you can get for about 2 grand. a bagged and bd truck that runs.

him selling the truck isn't what annoys the shit out of me, it is how he claims to do everything that he buys. how would you like it if you sold your truck to some kid then he tells everyone that he did everything on the truck that you just spent all your time and money on. but that kid turned out to be a 30+ yr old tard that just hacks up everything he touches.

and it is kind of hard to move on when the damn guy follows you everywhere and you have to work with him to.

that would piss me off.. i diddnt mean to offend but a decent frame and cab goes for at least 500 up here in canada and a rust freeone is priceless...didderent market differnt prices i guess ...maztang hows the progress on the irs?

you didn't offend, there is just a lot to what builds up that would take hours of typing to explain it all, you know. the frame is good on it just not square at the very rear. the first time he put it on craigslist he was asking something like 2200 or something. he had a couple guys come to the house with trailers and look at it then laughed and left empty handed. haha. then he was getting a ton of prank calls about the truck. that should have told him something but it didn't.

as far as the irs. haha i wish there was progress. i am waiting for tax time so i can go pick up a bunch of metal to finish the bed on the 83 and do the backhalf on the 90. i need to really start looking for a wrecked silverado with a 4.3 and an auto tranny. how's you ride coming? and for some reason i thought you were down here in texas somewhere. how long have you been in canada? haha. i may have been thinking of someone else.
