What are you trying to say?

I just simply was amazed by the beer. Due to MS beer laws I have a guy that runs a wine/liquor store willing to trade me straight across a good bottle of bubbly or wine for a bottle of the Imperial Stout.

i watched this show while i was on vacation, it said that beer is getting to be the new wine......people are willing to pay easily upwards of $20 for a bottle.

I have heard that also. This stout is like 11%. Well in MS they can only get/ sell 6% or less. My moms runs a store in MO so she got me this stuff for Xmas. I think cost on this was like $10 or $11 a bottle. They are kool ceramic bottles.

definitely have to look for that next time i go to oregon. i actually live next door to Rattlesnake Mountain Brewing company so i have really started liking full flavored beers. i can hardly drink budweiser anymore cause it tastes like watered down beer.

I've never been a big fan a fan of darker beers, although everything is worth a shot. I was kind of turned off from dark beers after trying Guiness... practically drinks like a steak. haha.

Send some up to Canada, Id like to try some

And whoever said that Beer is taking over Wine, I agree 100%. Beer is really kind of universal when it comes to pairing it with food too, theres so many combinations. I myself just like pairing Beer with Beer, but I find it goes pretty good with Pasta and things like that just like Wine would. And theres nothing like an Ice Cold Beer...and a big thick, juicy, Medium Rare steak.

mmm haha

Well if you didn't like Guiness this Imperial Stout is thicker, heavier and better imo.
