chroming grant kustom bumper

I was wondering if any one has ever chromed a grant kustoms bumper. Does any one have any pic's of the bumper?

i heard there was ALOT of metal work to be done to it if you want to chrome it, or else it will look like shit... just what i heard

I imagine so. The chrome plating will highlight any imperfections, where as if painting, some filler, sanding and paint will go a long way.

I was not sure what the bumpers looked like I was not aware they need that much work to be smooth.

You should definitely get one and chrome it. I think that would look sick nasty on your truck.

sorry to whore... has anyone ever painted a chromed bumper? my yota bumper has several scratches on it and i was thinking of using some ultra fine sandpaper, sanding it and then painting it...

i think u can ask GK to metal finsih them for u at an extra charge so they can be chrome plated

im HEAVILY considering gettin this bumper for my truck, anybody make brackets for it yet???

I took my chrome bumper and hit it with a grinder and smoothed it out with some body filler and primed it!will paint it when i figure out what color the truck will be!

did it turn out smooth?
