forget about the woman, yeah she broke your heart, but if u sit there and think about her and what u couldve changed and done differently, you going to miss out on many other good things in life, go out with friends, take up a hobby, play sports, BUILD A TRUCK!!!! dont let her drag u down, there are lots of women out there, and if u stay hung up on one, you'll never know or find the woman that was meant to be your wife, and blah blah blah, all that mushy stuff

Ain't that the truth!!

Back in 1997 my ex-wife dumped me and the 3 kids for some boy toy. At that point we had been married a couple of weeks short of 9 years.

When she found out she could potentially lose custody of the kids because of her behaviour she lied her way back into my life for the sole purpose of screwing me over... and it worked !!!

Because of some legal loophole she managed to get the kids, the house, the garage, the car, everything !!!

For years I lived in my parents basement and paid almost half my income to this lying double-crossing b***h. I also got stuck with the family debts and had to declare bankruptcy soon after.

Well, the kids are now almost adults and the financial load is getting lighter. I also met a great woman 6 years ago who thinks the world of me and we are planning to get married in a couple years.

After all this, my advice to you is to get out while the getting is good. Sure, it hurts now and you will still sometimes regret but you will find someone else and rebuild. I still sometimes long for what "could have been" with my ex-wife but then I remember what she did and how she hurt me and I get over it.

wow man,the only way I would have to change that story for it to suit my dad's situation is to just put his name on it. That is EXACTLY what my parents went through.

Well,things are back to normal with me and the single life. Neither of us have spoken to one another,and I don't expect it to ever happen,nor do I really care.

Having a hard time meeting any decent local girls,since I live in the middle of nowhere and it's a 25min to 1 hour drive to go anywhere populated.

I don't really care.Right now,girls are just more problems than they're worth. I'd rather have a problematic truck. it might leave me stranded,but atleast I can ALWAYS fix whatever goes wrong.

mike dude, sorry to hear 'bout the lady friend....things could have been worse, and I'm sure right now for you they could be better. just keep the ole chin up, take care of numero uno, do what ever floats your boat (work on the dawg or w/e).....you may have a little challange with the geography of the "herd" but once a blood hound always a blood hound, I'm sure you'll sniff out sumthin to "get under" nuthin like a change of scenery to brighten your day! good luck boss!
