I have installed Weber Carb, Headers and removed almost all the unnecessary "Stuff" Can I unplug and get rid of the computer behind foot panel in passenger side???????

I converted my B2200 to Weber a decade ago and just left the ECU in place behind the kick panel. The connections in the engine department? I just taped those off.
