Front bumper coating?

My 1988 front bumper end caps are absolutely plastic; I replaced one once. And a decade later I painted them. Plastic. Plastic. Plastic. Plastic. Plastic. Plastic. Plastic. Plastic. Plastic. Plastic. i got that bad boy stripped down, painted and remounted twice. I forgot to put the signal wires back the first time.

I treated the inside of the bumper and put bumper coating on the inside to stop it rusting anymore.. I then taped it off along the lower edge (out of sight) and painted that with bumper coating after roughing the surface a little.

I then went and bought stainless hardware to reattach everything. Got a new vac. cap.

Total cost about $47.
