A couple of months ago I blew my head gasket, radiator etc. When putting everything back we disconnected most of the vacuum lines on the pass side. I notice a lack of power(not a big deal)it runs fine. Is it because of the computer and can I disconnect the plug on the car? Btw its a stock carb and exhaust. A weber is in the near future. Thanks Ron

Sounds like that stock carb is running in limp mode since you removed a lot of the old vacuum lines. It's not a huge deal but it will cause the loss of power and can help stop up the catalytic converter since it's running rich now. A Weber will solve this issue. I am not sure on disconnecting the ecu since I haven't had one hooked up since 2004 when I did the Weber conversion.
