Yesterday i was hauling wood out to my to my shed when i pulled off my driveway into the grass I heard a loud scraping sound and a bang. The bang was my muffler which was hanging too low to begin with but when i went out this morning to see what i could do about the muffler i noticed this. Any ideas on how to fix it i believe its what adjusts the torsion bar.

OH Damn! Looks like its just the bolt that broke (torsion bar adjustment bolt). Try and remove the bolt and replace it with a JY one. Spray the hell out of it with penetrating spray before hand.

Part number 34050, just replace the bolt and use your original "anchor swivels" upper and lower. You should be able to lift and twist the upper anchor out and off of your truck and then work the broken bolt out of it at your work bench.

$8.20+ ship and tax from Jim Ellis Mazda parts. (Bolt only)

When you replace it make sure to re index the torsion bars so this does not happen again.
