Overspray remedies?

Okay so I was cleaning my eskies the other day and noticed a small area of black flecks/dots on them and freaked out. I'm guessing there was a slight gap in the masking when I was doing some bodywork a few months ago... Any ideas on how to safely remove it? It's not very noticeable but I know it's there so it disgusts/bugs me all the time!!!

Thanks as always,

Fred

Quick drying thinner or steel wool

Will either of those harm the chrome? I don't want any blemishes on my eskies!

Full strength Simple Green, no it won't hurt your wheels. Soak a rag and hold it against it for a minute or two, it should soften it enough to allow you to wipe it off.

If Dan's remedy doesn't work you could also try a clay bar like Mothers. It's been over 10 years since I worked at a body shop but we had something similar we used to remove over spray.

Allright guys thank you all for the advice! I'll let you know what does the trick.

I was going to say the same about claybar. That should do the trick, but the simple green is cheaper (if that works).
