wouldnt you want the bigger lobes from the 2200 cam gear for more power?

You can use the 2.0 head on the 2.2 block easy. You will need to use the 2.0 cam and caps, the only thing from the 2.2 you would use would be the distributor hosing plate. You COULD use the 2.0 housing plate if you wanted, but there would be a gap between the head and the water pump.

so if this is correct the only thing u need is the dizzy housing. if i had realized this thread was for a head swap, i wouldnt have made another thread. haha

as for the lifter swap incase anyone stumbles upon this or needs it, here is the info i recieved from once again, emjay

IF you are using the B2200 head and doing just a rocker swap, use the camshaft and rocker shafts from the 2.0, but everything else from the 2.2 head. The camshaft caps are also the bearings, you CAN'T swap those over unless you want them to wear out faster.

So is there any way to turn my 2.0 into a 2.2 head onto my 92 b2200 2.2 what kind of mod should i do to convert it i have both cam shaft also both hydrolic and mechanical rockers
