Well the truck is fuel injected and the stock tank was replaced with fuel cell and its at the back of the bed near tailgate

Gotcha. If it's easy to access, then yes, you could probably add your own inline check valve at or just after the pump. But I would definitely do the cold morning jumper/prime check first to make sure it's not something else.

ok ill try it in the morning if i wake up in time lol thanks for the help im hoping its nothing major just a simple fix
