finally got it running, but...

But it spent run right when I give it gas it dies out I let off and returns to smooth idle. What could it be?

I'd say the first thing to do would be to check the fuel filter, maybe it's not passing enough gasoline due to stuff like rust from the fuel tank.

Clean the mass air flow sensor? Make sure it is also plugged in... When I first got mine it did that and after cleaning the mass air flow sensor mine ran great

I will do both guys thanks. It's sat up for awhile and I had it running couple weeks ago idle great gave it gas and ran good. Had sometires fall mess up my dizzy plug. I fixed that had hard time starting then it started idle great give gas dies down let off goes back idle. Prolly is filter.
