so what is the difference in the webber carbs ? which ones are good for the 2.2L and why?
Oh so is that the only one that will work?
I think they make the adapters to fit a few to the 2.0/2.2 manifold
You can use the 32/36, 34, 36, or 38 as per Weber.
From what I've read, everyone goes with the 32/36 DGEV.
That's what i'm ordering for my 2600.
32/36 is for fuel economy and a little performance. The 38 is all out performance and would complement a header and cam nicely. I run a 32/36 on my mazda and love it. Thinking about the 38 on my toyota.
these trucks are good on gas as it is so why not go for it and put the 38 on lol
Its possible to put too much fuel to the engine if it can't burn it. That's why a header and hotter ignition are recommended. Gets it in burns it and gets it out then. I think my mileage went down actually with my 32/36 but man it runs better for sure.
hotter ignition ???. im looking into all my options right now cause im going to be rebuilding my 2.2L so i might aswell do it all at the same time. so im trying to research what guys are doing to these motors
i got a webber on mine i dono what it is cuz the guy that had it before me and before my cuzion put it on so i dono. but i gotta rebuild my motor so i always have to adjust the carb to get it to run better. but other than that it does give the motor a wake up and thats on the stock header and cam for a 2600.
