oem carb 89 b2200

Can I take away any of the emission hoses going into and out of the oem carb and it still run correctly? I just wanna do away with all that mess if possible. Any body out there know about that?

It's hit and miss. The best thing to do if your going to attempt, is to undo one hose at a time with the truck running and see if it changes the way its running. if not cap it, some vac lines suck air. You can get the vac caps at any auto parts store
