dome light killing battery

Hey guys i think my dome light is drawing power when its shut off and killing my battery over night.. sometimes my lights come on when i open the door and it dosent happen and when they dont come on i think thats when its grounds out somewhere or shorts out and kills my battery. does any on e know where the fuse or were the dome light wires start so i can disconnect them and see if that works..

cant you just remove the bulb? and see?

Not when it's dark.
The fuse is in the "room" location under dash. The wires run up the a-pillar into the headliner area then to your light. (atleast on my b2000 is how it goes)
