You would have to box and strengthen the frame so that it could no longer twist. Not really that hard. Its the same path as building one for drag racing. But its a lot of work.

I made an X cab unibody a few years back. The key would be to cut off the very front curve of the sheetmetal so when you butt the cab and bed together theres as small as a seam as possible. But your twisting issue is the main thing. It sounds like youd want to mount the bed on rubber mounts instead of mounting the cab solid too.
