man how did i miss this thread. congrats man! like everyone said being a dad is great. my girl turned 10 back in July. its hard at first to juggle everyday things and a child who is helpless and soley depends on you for help. but it does get easier. what you dont want to do is say "i cant wait for ________". you may want them to grow up and do things fast but once they do grow up some you'll be saying "i remember when you used to ______". my daughter trys soo hard to be independent, i wish she would ask me for more help like it used to be. i just want to baby her but i know shes getting too old for that. pretty much what im saying is cherish the little things and enjoy every moment.
