Ur thoughts on Bought VS Built?

Well i guess I'm gonna open a can of worms that I shouldn't but here I go
I myself and this is my opinion think that building a truck is the only way it should be done
I know alot of u guys don't have the access to welders and plasma cutters and what not
but there is nothing in the world like rolling
down the road in a truck You built Not Bought
I know there are a few guys on here that will agree and more that will disagree
I can't stand the fact of somebody going down and gettig a truck that's 99% done and claiming that's there truck
NO IT'S FUKKING NOT! You didn't put thousands of hours in and busted knuckels. Don't claim your a minitrucker because u drive one . I'm pissed that people can even be put in the same catagory as us.
I built my truck and I'm proud as hell I did. This isn't aimed at my bsecne brothers and sisters
this is aimed at the POS that killed my dream.
I understand about u buying a project and making I your own but for
god's sake don't claim ur a mini trucker when all u are is a poser

im not a poser my truck was built by someone else
then sold then hacked up i consider it saving the truck
no what i dont like is someone buying a truck and claim they built it
thats just wrong

im looking into buying a built truck. only because i dont have the tools, knowledge, time, and/or money to build one. before i buy i will look over the work entirerly to make sure its good quality. now when it comes to someone asking me about the truck i will let them know that it was bought. i will change up a few things such as interrior, exterrior paint, maybe wheels, just small touches. plan to get a sticker that says "Sorry, bought not build, maybe next time." i do agree with claiming the work of another person is b/s and that person should be slapped.

The diffrence is you guys would make the truck your own ( changes) but this guy claims he is a mini trucker and drives a built truck and then lies to guys in my club and talks shit behind my back and talks 4 guys leave my club because he twisted my words sorry I'm just kinda irritated

Amen brother I was to the point where I was about to say fuck it and sell my truck but my old lady told me I would be a idiot if I did. This bag of puss talked shit about me behind my back and put words into my mouth thAt I never said and talked 4 guys that were in dragginforce out to start a new club which is fine . I'm pissed because nobody even had the balls to come
to me and say anything. Fuckkin drama queens it's ovious to me they weren't dragginforce material anyways.

With the amount of money i have spent on my mazda i could of purchased two mabye even three completed trucks on air and mine isnt even done yet. yeah mabye i have wasted more than a few hundred changing or correcting mistakes on my build but have enjoyed every second of it. By building the truck i know how everything has been done and the quality of all work. I just turned 21 years old, and have spent the last 5 years of my life adding tools to my now huge collection of tools with lifetime warranty. I own a small hobart 125 welder but no plasma cutter, I have gone through about 100 cutting disk on this project so far and Hell yeah i need a plasma cutter but am not going to let that stop me from finishing MY TRUCK. There is no excuse for not being able to save 200-400 dollars for a small welder and build your own truck. You guys are even lucky to have clubs to be a part of. There are 2 other truck on air in my city and only one built. I have NO ONE experienced with air ride to help me or even anyone that shares enough interested to come over and help me 95% of the time.

Ive never bought any rig finished................I enjoy the work and when I figure Im done with what I want to do with it, I sell it and buy something else to work on

i bought my ranger bagged already. and whenever someone asks me if i did the work, i'll tell them i bought it like it is. but slowly i am redoing things and making it into "my" truck.

well i didnt do the welding or fab on my truck, but i tried to be there every moment i could. but i built my truck a different way. but i was there learning and helped him do the work on it. i love my truck and i dont think i could love a complete truck like i love mine. even though its kinda a beater as of now.. BUT i would buy and drive a built truck none the less. a nice truck is a nice truck. but sentemental value makes the difference. it sucks this guy is being a doucher...built or bought that guy is giving all mini truckers a bad name. fuck him
