Swapping parts on a Mazda B2200

Hey guys, just joined up today. Looking for some some ideas/advice from you. I have a bagged S10, but my gf has an 88 Mazda B2200 (2wd) and it's bagged in the back with a 4 link. The front isn't done yet. See pics below:

Anyways... we just picked up a 91 Mazda 4x4 for $360!!! It runs and drives, but has a cracked frame on the driver side rail. We towed it home, but I drove it around the lot and pulled it into the driveway. A great deal if you ask me!

Basically, she wants to use the flared besides and fenders from the 4x4 on her truck so she can lay out on 20's without it rubbing. Also going to use the bucket seats, since hers has a bench.
The original plan was just to swap fenders, swap the bed, swap seats, and fix the frame on the 4x4 to sell it for a little profit or for cheap to her parents (who want a pickup for hauling).
Well here's the dilemma, I realized that the wheel base is different for the regular cab and ext cab. The front fenders should bolt right up, but the beds are different. The wheels sit closer to the cab on the ext. cab truck.

What do you guys think is our best options?

Idk I have the opposite problem from you I have a standard cab bed and a plus cab truck didnt measure the wheel location got it for a cheap price got it home and realized quickly it doesnt fit I was thinking of using it and just having my drive shaft altered since i am four linking the truck anyway

you can do that and to me it better then the plus cab bed any way....

as for swaping parts yes the fenders bolt right on, the seats will to... most of the part will swap between the two trucks but like you said the beds are different, you can put the 4x4 fenders on the truck but you really dont need them, you can put 20s on it and still lay it out with the 2wd fenders but it helps to have the 4x4s,if you are really good or know some one that is really good at welding cut the 4x4 out of the bed and graft it into the 2wd bed then just put a flat bed on the 4x4 for mom and dad,...lol

Yeah that is an option too. I mean worst case, her parents aren't going to get a truck out of this deal. We'll part out the 4x4 or scrap whatever we don't need. I personally don't have the skills to graft in the flares, but I have a few friends in the truck club that do. Just a matter of talking them into helping. I know it won't be easy, and will take a lot of time in making the body work perfect.

haha hey man. Yeah trying to get some info from both forums, lol.

I live in Pittsburgh now (about 22 months) but I am formally from Youngstown, OH (born and raised). You've probably passed that on Rt. 80!

Update: Well I decided to have a friend help me patch the frame on the 4x4. I gave it a tune-up, replaced the cracked leaf springs, put a new exhaust on it, and have been driving it every now and then. I got it inspected and everything! It's been a great work truck and I plan on using it this winter too.

I finally swapped the bench seat from my gf's truck into mine (the B2600i) and put my buckets in hers. It was a direct swap. The buckets look great in hers. The bench looks pretty cool in mine too. Its definitely different looking! It's comfortable though, so I'm not complaining.

We decide not to bother swapping the fenders at all. I'm going to try to flare the bedsides so her tires don't rub. I found this nice How-To on mini truckin' web.

We ordered the rest of the parts needed to bag the front the other day, so it should be under the knife again by July 19th. Hoping to have it done for Carlisle (Aug 6-8th).

I'll either update this thread or start a new project thread and post the link in here when we get started.
