Yes they were!!!! Used to have one in my truck but just can't remember what happened to it. Probable sold it or traded for something I really didn't need.

And as for the 80's - I'm all for bringing em back LOL, good times.

sometimes i wish i was born in the '80s cause i love all that stuff. '80s cars were ugly as hell but the custom stuff and aftermarket stuff from the '80s was pretty cool. i love stuff like that.
the only bad thing about this mirror is its hard to use the visors after you install it cause the thing is just so damn big.

dude i have one in my garage....i rock em in all my hondas n shit....never thought bout puttin it in my truck tho....i can get em all day long for 22 bucks on ebay....all they are is a golfcart mirror!!!!!!! and you can see like 160 or 170 degrees like....it shows shit all the way up beside you
