Transmission issues?

Ok, well a while back the trucks slave cylinder went out on me, after towing it home it was replace quickly and I was on my way. Well it has never really been the same since then it is really difficult to get it into reverse most of the time and every once and awhile gives me fits going into first. So I me thinking it was my pedal covers I had on I took it off and that kind of helped, then I adjusted the rod that pushes into the master cylinder that attaches to the pedal and that seemed to work for a little bit but then it went right back to normal. Does anyone know why this is? I was thinking maybe the master cylinder is going/gone but I wanted a second opinion before I dropped $30 bucks on it because money is tight and the rx7 needs a new water pump.

Sounds like there's air in the line.

There is no way haha I made sure that thing was bled on 2 different occasions haha
