How much extra room does 4wd sheetmetal make?

I'm looking for facts and measurements. someone has had to have been as curious as I am and measured the difference. I would, but I dont have a post '85.

About 3/4" at the lip but it tapers back up to the same as 2wd further up th fender and bed.
