Wiring harness swap ?

Well I now have a Mazda in a sense it's a 80' Turd Courier with the 2.3 motor, 5 speed, and Sunroof YAY!!! I got the truck hella cheap do to a wiring issue. I fixed what I thought was the problem because everything started working again. I was wrong last night I lost my rear running light again . So I crawled back under the truck and dug a little deeper to find that the whole rear harness from the cab back has been hacked . For some reason the junk yards here only have Pre 84' Mazdas and no Couriers. So on to my question does anyone know if the pre 84' Mazda tail light harness is the same as the Couriers?

at that point courier and maz were the same truck with diff badges.They came to USA as a cab-chassis-engine and the beds were put on here.wiring harness should be identical.bj

LOL, leave it to Mr. Mazda to pull out a piece of trivia only an engineer would (should) know.
